NetSuite Functional Consultant

We are currently looking for a NetSuite Functional Consultant to lead business analysis, solution design, ERP configuration, and client-facing activities for NetSuite implementations. The ideal candidate will possess strong finance domain expertise and demonstrate the ability to align business processes with NetSuite best practices to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from various stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct discovery workshops, business process assessments, and fit-gap analysis sessions to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Configure NetSuite modules, workflows, forms, dashboards, reports, and saved searches tailored to business needs.
- Lead and support NetSuite implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects from initiation through post-go-live support.
- Develop detailed functional design documents and collaborate closely with technical teams on customizations and system integrations.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), conduct user training sessions, oversee deployment activities, and provide ongoing support after go-live.
- Advise clients on NetSuite best practices, process improvements, and opportunities for system optimization.
- Support project planning, status reporting, documentation, and maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in NetSuite consulting, including implementation, configuration, and business process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Tax Management, and Multi-Currency Accounting.
- Solid understanding of Chart of Accounts, Subsidiaries and Intercompany Accounting, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, business process mapping, NetSuite configuration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-user training.
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across finance, operations, and executive teams.
