Network Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our team on a full-time, in-person basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s computer networks and communication systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and software components. The successful candidate will have experience working with various network devices and operating systems, and will be comfortable providing technical support through help desk channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor computer networks and systems to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Install, operate, and maintain computer networks and communication systems, ensuring reliability and security.
- Utilize knowledge of network operating systems and management tools, including routers, servers, switches, firewalls, and workstations.
- Troubleshoot and configure company hardware and software to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on network equipment as needed.
- Manage and maintain email servers, Linux and Windows servers, as well as databases.
- Oversee the operation and management of Wi-Fi and local network printers.
- Respond promptly to help desk calls and emails related to computer networks and communication systems.
- Work primarily with Windows Servers; experience with Linux is considered an advantage.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring network devices and software.
- Experience managing email servers and various operating systems, including Windows Server environments.
