Network & Systems Support Specialist

We are seeking a proactive Network & Systems Support Specialist with over two years of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure, supporting Windows-based systems, and automating routine IT tasks through scripting. This full-time role reports directly to the IT Manager or Senior Manager IT and requires hands-on technical expertise to ensure the reliability and security of our network environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Diagnose network connectivity and performance issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Monitor network performance to support a stable and secure infrastructure.
- Manage Windows systems, including Active Directory, user accounts, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Provide technical support and resolve escalated hardware, software, and network issues.
- Develop PowerShell and Batch scripts to automate administrative and diagnostic tasks.
- Utilize basic Python, Bash, or JavaScript for automation and API-related functions.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, system documentation, and technical records.
- Employ troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute, IPConfig, and NSLookup.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in network administration, IT support, or systems engineering.
- Strong understanding of LAN networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Practical experience working with network devices and Windows operating environments.
- Proficient in managing Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.
- Skilled in scripting with PowerShell and Batch.
- Basic knowledge of Python, Bash, or JavaScript programming.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Windows Server/Systems Administration are highly desirable.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs100,000.
- Work location is on-site, fostering direct collaboration within the IT department.
