Network Coordinator Pakistan (Punjab & Sindh)

Mensen met een Missie is looking for a full-time Network Coordinator to be based in Pakistan, preferably in the Punjab or Sindh provinces, to support the Faith in Freedom programme. This initiative focuses on promoting Freedom of Religion and Belief (FoRB) and aims to build peaceful, inclusive societies by collaborating with local partners in Pakistan and other countries. The Network Coordinator will play a crucial role in facilitating cooperation among 3-5 partner organisations, ensuring the effective execution of the programme’s strategy and workplans. Acting as the key liaison between the Pakistan network and the international team, the coordinator will advocate for inclusive, gender- and faith-sensitive approaches while representing all partners fairly. The role demands strong skills in coordination, advocacy, and relationship-building to foster trust, learning, and shared ownership among partners and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and facilitate the Pakistan Faith in Freedom partner network to strengthen collaboration, trust, and joint ownership.
- Support the implementation of the Pakistan strategy across intrafaith, interfaith, and extrafaith pathways, tailoring approaches to the local FoRB context.
- Promote meaningful participation and leadership of women, youth, religious minorities, and other marginalized groups.
- Encourage conflict-sensitive, power-aware, and Do No Harm approaches, helping partners respond effectively to emerging risks and tensions.
- Provide strategic advice and accompaniment to individual partners as required.
- Act as the communication bridge between Pakistan partners and the international team in The Netherlands, translating programme frameworks into local realities and vice versa.
- Coordinate Pakistan’s advocacy agenda by linking partner priorities and community experiences with relevant local and national stakeholders.
- Maintain strategic relationships with government institutions, religious bodies, civil society networks, and diplomatic missions.
- Lead annual planning, reflection, and reporting processes, consolidating partner inputs in collaboration with programme management and PMEL teams.
- Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, including baseline, mid-term, and endline assessments.
- Facilitate partner reflection sessions, learning events, peer exchanges, and cross-country learning opportunities.
- Identify capacity-building needs and organise technical assistance, training, or peer learning opportunities.
- Manage logistics for visits and missions, including travel arrangements, appointments, and security protocols.
- Promote gender equality, inclusion, local ownership, and mutual accountability throughout the programme.
- Ensure partners comply with safeguarding, integrity, and risk-management policies, reporting any concerns through appropriate channels.

Required Qualifications

- Relevant academic background and professional experience in international development, human rights, peacebuilding, governance, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of FoRB and Pakistan’s religious, social, and political landscape, with a willingness to deepen thematic expertise.
- Experience working with religious actors, faith-based organisations, and diverse civil society groups, demonstrating sensitivity to religious diversity and inclusion.
- Proven experience coordinating partner networks, multi-stakeholder processes, or consortium programmes, with excellent facilitation and relationship-building skills.
- Competence in programme coordination, planning, reporting, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and advocacy.
- Commitment to gender equality, inclusion, conflict sensitivity, Do No Harm principles, and safeguarding.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into practical actions.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills, along with proficiency in relevant local languages.
- Pakistani citizenship with the ability and willingness to travel regularly within the country.
- Proactive, collaborative, and reflective working style, confident in using Office 365 and online collaboration tools.
