Network & DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing secure and scalable AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, serverless architectures, network security, and automation. This role requires hands-on expertise in maintaining high availability, optimizing cloud resources, and ensuring robust security measures across cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with development and IT teams to support seamless deployments and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Utilize AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Route 53, ALB/NLB, CloudFront, and Auto Scaling in daily operations.
- Implement and manage AWS serverless infrastructure components including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
- Apply deep knowledge of AWS security tools like WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, IAM, KMS, and AWS Shield to safeguard cloud environments.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes where applicable.
- Perform Linux system administration tasks including Nginx configuration, security hardening, patch management, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor AWS infrastructure and application performance through logging, alerting, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability strategies to ensure system resilience.
- Manage AWS infrastructure upgrades, vulnerability remediation, resource optimization, capacity planning, and cost control.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, routing, switching, and overall network connectivity.
- Operate next-generation firewalls, preferably Fortinet FortiGate, including firewall policies, VPNs, and network security management.
- Maintain a strong understanding of networking protocols, SSL/TLS certificates, network security, and load balancing techniques.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, Google Workspace, and enterprise email systems.
- Oversee endpoint security, device compliance, antivirus solutions, encryption, user account management, and access policies.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, maintenance, and routine operational tasks.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, infrastructure failures, deployment issues, and network performance problems.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure configuration records.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure reliable deployments, infrastructure availability, and operational efficiency.
- Manage day-to-day AWS cloud operations, office IT infrastructure, and enterprise network security.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in AWS Cloud, DevOps, Network Engineering, or Systems Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, serverless architecture, cloud security, and DevOps automation.
- Practical knowledge of enterprise networking, virtualization, firewalls, and network security appliances.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365, Intune, and endpoint management solutions.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
