Jazz is looking for a Network Integration & Implementation Engineer based in Islamabad at Grade Level L2. This role focuses on managing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical and network-related projects, including managed services and system integration across Jazz’s enterprise solutions. The engineer will ensure projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, SLAs, and client expectations by coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and customer technical staff. Reporting to the Regional Manager – Service Delivery, this position requires collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end deployment of internet, data, and voice services projects, including network design, configuration, installation, and documentation. Design and implement WAN solutions such as Enterprise WAN, Carrier-grade WAN, and SD-WAN, covering routing, switching, security technologies, high-level and low-level designs (HLDs, LLDs), and responses to RFPs/RFIs. Manage the full service delivery cycle for traditional WAN solutions like MPLS L2/L3 VPN, Multi-homed Internet, SIP-based VOIP, DPLCs, and L2 solutions (xSTP, QinQ, LAG). This includes onsite installation and configuration of multi-vendor CPEs such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points from Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, and others.

Provide managed services including SD-WAN, SASE, DCN, managed Wi-Fi, firewall-as-a-service, cloud-based call-center/VOIP solutions, and voice integration with existing customer networks. Deliver M2M/IoT solutions while coordinating with field teams for escalations that require physical intervention. Handle change management and support activities, including remote configurations, onsite support, and training for client technical teams.

Collaborate with OEMs and partners for design and delivery, and participate in post-sales training as needed. Lead software and hardware upgrades and troubleshooting during business and off-business hours. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, facilitate meetings, communicate with stakeholders, track progress, and report to leadership. Act as a technical liaison during onboarding and post-deployment phases. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and conduct in-house testing of new products and services.

Required Qualifications

6 to 8 years of experience in service delivery of managed services and system integration involving routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points for multiple customers. Strong knowledge of IP networks, report writing, and data analysis is essential. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIA, or HCIP are mandatory. Proven expertise in BGP, OSPF, GRE, IPSEC, SIP, routing, switching, QinQ, IoT, and cloud technologies. Excellent presentation skills with fluency in English and Urdu.

An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities is required. Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Good understanding of project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) and tools like MS Project or Jira. Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams and manage vendor deliverables under tight deadlines. Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecom, Electrical, Computer), Computer Science, or IT is required. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, and Huawei network security solutions in enterprise environments is essential. Practical knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate/FortiAnalyzer/FortiManager, Cisco FTD/FMC, and Huawei iMaster NCE platforms. Experience with Fortinet, Cisco (Viptela/Meraki), and Huawei SD-WAN technologies for implementation, configuration, and optimization of enterprise WAN environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Huawei HCIA/HCIP, Fortinet NSE4/NSE7, and Juniper JNCIS/JNCIP.
