Job Description: Qualification: Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field from an HEC-recognized university. Preference would be given to foreign qualified candidates with proven track record. Experience: At least 4 years of experience administering networks, servers and cloud infrastructure in a production environment. Skills & Competencies: • Networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls) • Cloud infrastructure administration (AWS/Azure/GCP) • Server and endpoint administration (Linux/Windows) • Backup, disaster-recovery and monitoring tools • Basic security hygiene and incident escalation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • System and network uptime against agreed service levels. • Timeliness of infrastructure-incident resolution. Job Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities / ToRs: • Administer the Unit's network, on-premise servers, cloud environments (in coordination with the CISO) and end-user IT infrastructure. • Configure and maintain access controls, VPNs, backups and disaster-recovery arrangements for the Unit's systems. • Monitor system availability and performance; diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents. • Support the provisioning of compute, storage and networking resources for AI/ML workloads and GPU workstations. • Maintain infrastructure documentation, asset inventories and vendor/AMC records for hardware and network equipment.
