Networking and Infra(Terraform OR Ansible) AND (Python OR powershell script)

We are seeking a skilled networking professional with a strong foundation in core networking concepts and hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex network architectures. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in subnetting, VLAN design, IP addressing schemes, and a solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols. This role requires the ability to work across both IT and OT environments, ensuring seamless network segmentation and DMZ design. The candidate will be responsible for deploying and configuring a variety of network devices from leading vendors and managing physical layer infrastructure, including cable management and structured cabling.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement end-to-end networking architectures for IT and OT environments, ensuring robust segmentation and security.
- Deploy, configure, and test network devices such as switches, routers, and appliances from vendors including Cisco, Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider.
- Manage physical network infrastructure, including cable management and structured cabling.
- Prepare detailed network documentation and as-built drawings to support operational needs.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, primarily Terraform and Ansible, for infrastructure deployment and management.
- Design and manage infrastructure environments across cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as virtualized environments including VMware and Citrix.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or equivalent languages to streamline infrastructure and network operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to define infrastructure templates and drive implementation aligned with business requirements.
- Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, JFrog, and Ansible.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts in a hybrid, global work environment to ensure infrastructure and networking solutions meet organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

- Proficiency in subnetting, VLAN design, and IP addressing schemes.
- Strong understanding of Layer 2 (Ethernet, switching) and Layer 3 (routing) protocols.
- Hands-on experience deploying and configuring network devices from Cisco, Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform and Ansible.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages for automation purposes.
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025).
- Ability to prepare comprehensive network documentation and operational runbooks.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong ownership mindset, responsiveness, and accountability in a fast-paced, hybrid work setting.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with Industrial Ethernet protocols such as EtherCAT, PROFINET, and Modbus TCP is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems within an infrastructure context.
- Hands-on experience with asset management and network discovery tools like Snipe-IT and Lansweeper.
- Familiarity with CI/CD toolchain management and general DevOps tooling.
- Exposure to monitoring tools and platforms.
