- Assist in the preparation of monthly statements, ability to play a key role in the monthly close.
- Prepare and verify daily Cash Book and Bank Reconciliation Statement.
- Control of the payment subject to withholding tax and therefore is required to deduct and remit taxes withheld to the government.
- Update accounting database for daily financial transactions.
- Maintain a backup for all the financial data
- Maintain integrity and accuracy in financial transactions and reports
- Liaise with banks to address any account issues and queries
- Maintain security and confidentiality of financial records.
- Develop professional knowledge on cash management processes and techniques.
- Prepare journal entries and accruals for monthly close
- Maintain filing and documentation for Tax Record
- Work as a team with other accounting staff in standardizing practices and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s Degree in Accounting
- At least 2 year of Accounts and Sale Tax experience in any firm.
- Necessary knowledge of MS Office and prepaid accounts software is required.
- A pleasant, confident telephone manner
- Reliability and honesty.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in managing the pursuit of goals through collaboration and teamwork
