New Vision Engineering Consultant seeks an experienced Assessment / Examination Specialist to lead the development and management of comprehensive examination systems. The ideal candidate holds a Masters Degree in Educational Measurement, Assessment, Evaluation, Education, or a related discipline and brings a minimum of 12 years of expertise in educational assessment, psychometrics, and quality assurance. This role involves leading a team of three professionals to design, develop, and maintain high-quality testing frameworks aimed at accurately measuring learning outcomes and benchmarking educational standards. The Assessment / Examination Specialist oversees the entire assessment lifecycle, ensuring the validity, reliability, and fairness of examinations and learning assessments. This position requires deep knowledge of psychometric analysis, item writing, and quality assurance methodologies. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance learning management systems and align assessment strategies with accreditation and institutional requirements. Dedicated to continuous improvement, the specialist supports the organizations mission to deliver rigorous educational evaluations and supports data-driven decision-making processes.
Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of examination and assessment systems that meet regulatory and institutional standards.
Supervise and mentor a team of three examination and assessment professionals to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
Develop and validate test items using psychometric principles to guarantee fairness, reliability, and validity.
Conduct comprehensive psychometric analysis to evaluate item performance and test effectiveness.
Oversee quality assurance activities within all assessment processes, ensuring compliance with accreditation and educational standards.
Collaborate with instructional designers and educators to align assessment frameworks with learning objectives and outcomes.
Manage and optimize the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to support test delivery, security, and result analysis.
Ensure the assessment strategies promote equitable testing environments and adhere to ethical guidelines.
Continuously evaluate and enhance examination systems based on feedback, technological advances, and best practices.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing assessment data, analysis results, and recommendations for stakeholders.
Stay up to date with current trends and technological innovations in educational measurement and assessment.
Support accreditation processes by providing assessment data and documentation required for institutional review.
