Leading a dedicated team of three professionals, the specialist coordinates procurement activities, drives continuous improvement in sourcing approaches, and ensures timely delivery of IT assets critical to business operations. The candidate must possess at least twelve years of experience in IT procurement and contract management, demonstrating expertise in technology acquisition and vendor negotiations. Additionally, familiarity with PPRA Rules and related procurement regulations is preferred, enabling the specialist to maintain compliance and mitigate risks. This position requires a strategic thinker capable of optimizing costs and enhancing procurement efficiency in a dynamic technological environment.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, and related services to meet organizational requirements.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process including vendor identification, request for proposals, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Oversee contract management activities ensuring all agreements comply with legal and organizational standards and meet performance expectations.
Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify opportunities for cost savings and value optimization in IT procurement.
Build and maintain productive relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure delivery quality standards.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, public procurement rules, and IT contracting practices throughout the procurement lifecycle.
Lead and mentor a team of three procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and development.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across IT, finance, and legal departments to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to contract compliance, service delivery, or quality control.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation on procurement activities, contract statuses, and market trends for senior management.
Stay updated on industry developments, procurement regulations, and new technologies to continuously improve procurement strategies.
