The ideal candidate holds a Master's Degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field, with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience in impact evaluation, economic analysis, cost-benefit analysis, program evaluation, and econometric research. This role involves managing a team of three professionals, guiding them through complex quantitative evaluation methodologies, and delivering insightful economic assessments that inform policymaking and program improvements.
The Impact Evaluation Economist will utilize advanced econometric modeling and quantitative data analysis to examine the effectiveness and economic implications of various policies and programs. The role emphasizes rigorous cost-benefit and policy analysis to facilitate evidence-based decision making. The candidate must possess strong expertise in impact evaluation methodologies and experience working with statistical software tools. This position plays a critical role in contributing valuable insights to public sector development initiatives and requires excellent leadership abilities to supervise and mentor a small team effectively.
