This role involves creating detailed technical reports, evaluation documents, consultancy assignments, and project reports primarily for IT and engineering projects. The ideal candidate holds a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, English, Project Management, or Public Administration. They possess at least five years of experience in technical writing and documentation, demonstrating excellent written communication, editing, and formatting skills. The position requires working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality documentation within tight deadlines, and the candidate will manage a small team of two persons. The successful candidate applies strong analytical skills to review project data, transform complex information into clear and concise reports, and support the dissemination of knowledge within the organization and to external stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential, as is familiarity with content management systems. Previous experience in government, public sector, development sector, or donor-funded IT projects is highly advantageous. Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit technical reports, project evaluations, consultancy papers, and IT project documentation ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Manage the entire documentation lifecycle from data collection and analysis to final report formatting and publication.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and validate report content.
  • Lead and supervise a small team of two documentation personnel, providing direction, mentoring, and quality control to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Apply advanced editing and proofreading skills to enhance document quality, improve readability, and ensure consistency across all materials.
  • Utilize content management systems effectively to organize, store, and update documentation resources.
  • Analyze project data and performance metrics to produce comprehensive and insightful evaluation reports.
  • Maintain compliance with donor, government, and organizational reporting requirements and standards.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure documentation supports project implementation and knowledge sharing objectives.
  • Work within defined timelines to meet strict deadlines while maintaining excellence in the quality of documentation outputs.
