Next Trade is seeking a motivated Broker Car Hauling professional to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of vehicles by establishing strong relationships with carriers and efficiently planning loads. As a Broker Car Hauling specialist at Next Trade, you will play a critical part in keeping operations smooth and successful without managing a team. You will work closely with carriers and internal staff to oversee inventory management and dispatch activities. Your role is vital in ensuring all parties involved understand requirements and transportation plans, thereby enhancing carrier relationship management and overall freight brokerage operations. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage vehicle shipments by effectively planning loads and optimizing routes.
- Negotiate carrier rates and contracts to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure capacity availability and service quality.
- Manage freight brokerage operations by organizing transportation details and resolving issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to schedule timely pick-ups and deliveries, maintaining clear communication throughout.
- Use Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to track shipments, manage inventory, and update records accurately.
- Conduct carrier negotiations using effective techniques to maximize value and reduce transportation costs.
- Monitor and analyze freight costs, carrier performance, and market trends to recommend process improvements.
- Work closely with internal teams to align inventory management and transportation activities for streamlined operations.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, responding proactively to unexpected challenges or delays in shipment schedules.
- Promote a positive and cooperative work environment, contributing to team success and maintaining high morale.
- Continuously develop knowledge of auto transport logistics, freight brokerage, and related regulations.
