Software Engineer

We are building a fashion platform designed to reduce textile waste and encourage local resale of clothes. We are based in the US and we are looking to hire talented Independent Contractors to work full-time on a long term project for us.Requirements:

Proficient with English (preferably fluent).
Strong software engineering foundation with data structures, and algorithms.
Good software design skills.
Ability to do test-driven development.
Ability to recognize and fix race conditions.
Ability to optimize for performance for backend engineering.
Ability to effectively debug code.
Knowledge of Git

We are looking to hire somebody confident (and trainable) in their technical skills and can solve new problems that they never encountered before. Recommended but not required:

Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science
ReactNative or ReactJS experience
NodeJS
JavaScript
REST API
NoSQL database (DynamoDB)
