Next.js Developer

We are seeking a skilled Next.js Developer to join our team and contribute to building modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Next.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and REST APIs, along with a strong grasp of contemporary frontend development practices. This role involves collaborating closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver responsive, user-friendly web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js and React.
- Build reusable, maintainable, and high-quality frontend components.
- Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and client-side rendering as appropriate.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and functional web pages.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, SEO, and usability.
- Implement authentication, authorization, routing, and application state management.
- Troubleshoot application issues and perform code optimization.
- Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to frontend development standards.
- Collaborate effectively with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and business teams.
- Support application deployment and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.

Required Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js and React.js.
- Proficient in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience developing responsive web applications.
- Skilled in integrating REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of SSR, SSG, client-side rendering, routing, and component-based architecture.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand.
- Proficient with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or Bootstrap.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Basic understanding of Node.js.
- Experience implementing authentication protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, or JWT.
- Exposure to Docker and containerization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of headless CMS integration.
- Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
