The Night Checker plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of assigned sites during night shifts. This position involves conducting regular inspections, ensuring security personnel are alert and present at their posts, and promptly reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches. The Night Checker works closely with the Security Supervisor and Operations Manager to uphold security standards and respond effectively to any incidents. This role requires a vigilant individual capable of working independently throughout the night while maintaining detailed records of all observations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular night-time visits and inspections of assigned security areas and sites.
- Monitor the attendance and alertness of security guards during the night shift.
- Ensure guards are present at their designated posts and performing their assigned duties.
- Perform surprise checks at security posts and document all findings.
- Verify that guards are deployed according to the approved duty roster.
- Inspect gates, entrances, exits, boundary areas, and other sensitive locations for security compliance.
- Immediately report any unauthorized persons, suspicious activities, security breaches, or unusual incidents.
- Maintain a detailed Night Checking Report outlining each visit and observations made.
- Confirm that guards are equipped with necessary security tools such as registers, torches, and communication devices.
- Coordinate with the Security Supervisor and Operations Team during emergencies or incidents.
- Monitor adherence to security instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and client requirements.
- Submit daily and nightly inspection reports to the relevant supervisor.
- Perform additional security-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum education of Matriculation; Intermediate level preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in security checking, supervision, or field operations.
- Strong observation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools is advantageous.
- Physically fit and willing to travel between assigned security locations as needed.
- Possession of a valid driving license is considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Candidates with intermediate education and prior supervisory experience will be preferred. The role offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000. The position requires in-person attendance at the designated work locations, emphasizing the importance of physical presence and mobility during night hours.

The Night Checker must ensure that all assigned security posts are properly manned, guards remain vigilant and present, and any security-related issues are promptly escalated to management to maintain a secure environment.
