LAW Officer

Nisar Synthetic Limited is seeking a skilled LAW Officer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to provide expert legal support and ensure compliance with various legal frameworks. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge in Civil Laws, Corporate Laws, Criminal Laws, and Taxation Laws. This role demands meticulous handling of litigation support, case management, and the effective application of litigation support tools to assist in legal proceedings and risk management. The LAW Officer will work independently to analyze legal issues, prepare documentation, and offer sound advice aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements. The LAW Officer takes responsibility for accurately managing legal cases from inception through resolution, supporting the company's legal and business objectives. Although the role does not involve managing a team, it requires excellent coordination with internal departments and external legal entities. The candidate must demonstrate a keen understanding of the legal environment, exhibit strong analytical skills, and maintain updated knowledge of evolving laws to minimize potential liabilities and safeguard the companys interests.
Responsibilities

Provide litigation support by preparing case files, legal documents, and evidence for court proceedings and meetings.
Manage legal cases effectively by tracking deadlines, filing documentation, and maintaining comprehensive case records.
Conduct legal research on Civil, Corporate, Criminal, and Taxation Laws to ensure compliance and support case strategies.
Utilize litigation support tools to organize, analyze, and present legal data for internal and external purposes.
Offer informed legal advice to departments concerning the impact and implementation of relevant laws and regulations.
Collaborate closely with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and government agencies when necessary.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence consistent with corporate policies.
Monitor changes in legislation and advise the company proactively on amendments that may affect operations.
Ensure all legal activities are carried out in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards.
Support dispute resolution processes by preparing negotiation strategies and assisting in mediation or arbitration.
Assist in corporate governance matters including board resolutions, compliance reports, and legal audits.
Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive and proprietary legal information.
Conduct training sessions or provide guidance for departments on legal compliance and risk mitigation as needed.
