The Procurement Executive plays a vital role in driving cost reduction strategies and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies. The candidate will conduct market research and competitive intelligence to identify the best purchasing options, balancing price, quality, and delivery timelines. A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field is required, complemented by 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within the textile industry. The ability to manage multiple procurement tasks simultaneously and sustain productive vendor relationships is critical. The executive will also maintain comprehensive procurement records, invoices, and documentation, supporting the operational needs and strategic goals of Nisar Synthetic Limited. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the companys supply chain excellence without direct team management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing and procurement activities to support company operations effectively.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure cost-effective purchasing deals.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and continuously identify potential new vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels in collaboration with relevant departments, ensuring procurement aligns with operational needs.
- Conduct detailed comparison of prices, quality, and delivery schedules to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including invoices and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate closely with finance and warehouse teams to ensure seamless procurement processes and payment cycles.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Leverage market research and competitive intelligence to optimize supplier selection and procurement strategies.
- Employ cost reduction strategies to maximize company profitability without compromising material quality.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple procurement tasks efficiently.
- Utilize MS Office tools, particularly Excel, to analyze procurement data and generate reports supporting decision-making.
- Stay informed about local market trends, supplier capabilities, material pricing, and relevant textile industry developments.
