You’ll be part of the product engineering team, and will work closely with a number of other infrastructure, DevOps and application teams to ensure that the applications are designed to scale, and that we’re enabling our application development teams to move as quickly as possible. You’ll automate application deployment and monitoring with your deep knowledge of Chef, automate provisioning of virtual infrastructure in our private clouds, and help solve the hard problems around monitoring of devices in stores, provisioning applications on diverse platforms and hardware including containers, cloud on prem and off. You will be a leadership voice for infrastructure best practices and automation on the product engineering. You will also work closely with product managers and scrum masters to groom the teams’ backlogs and ensure that stories are sized appropriately.
Desired Skill and Experience Required:
- 5+ years of Infrastructure Engineering
4+ Experience on RedHat Enterprise Linux
Well versed in Containers (Docker, LxC)
Worked on Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure)
Familiar with PAAS (Cloud Foundry)
Strong in scripting using Bash/Ruby/Python/Perl
Advance use of CM Tools Chef, Puppet or Ansible
Worked in various software development stacks. Extensively been involved in design and implementation of build pipeline
Have experience in Build Tools such as Gradle, Maven or Ant
Worked on Orchestration tools (Jenkins, Electric Commander, Cruise control)
Experienced implementing monitoring and alert tools
Experience developing plugins (in Groovy, Java, Ruby) for exposing common build task
Prior project experience using Agile methodology
Preferred Skill
Proficient Java developer with 5+ years of experience. Worked on various frameworks like Spring MVC, Play 2, Struts 2 etc
