- This is a customer facing role requiring a broad knowledge of MES, SQL and web servers and in particular Siemens Simatic IT application.
- MES/Scada Consultant will be required to attend customer meetings, to author MES process mapping using UML diagrams, function designs and test specification, and give advice and thought leadership.
- MES/Scada Consultant will work closely with project manages and system architects and other key stakeholders which will define in detail the solution architecture being proposed.
- MES/Scada Consultant will require a very good working knowledge of the S95 model and integration with ERP (especially GE), CMM, PDM, PLM, LIMS systems.
- Project scope finalization, Requirement Analysis and MES/MOM Product Functional mapping
- Lead the Solution design / architecture for an effective MES/MOM to support critical business strategies.
- Design/Implement MES/MOM Solutions
- Ensure clear and timely communication and reporting of status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate all technical queries with MES Product Vendor, System Integration Partner resources and Client's internal teams.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Degree (IT Based)
- The right candidate is educated to degree level or ideally has 5 years’ experience in an Enterprise Information Technology role.
- Proficy Plant Applications / Brilliant Manufacturing, Simatic IT, Factory Talk Production Center, Delmia Apriso
- Expertise in Integrating MES with ERP (SAP) and with the Control Systems.
- Expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)/Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), and Manufacturing Intelligence
- Understanding of Manufacturing Production Processes (Discrete/Process/Hybrid Manufacturing)
- Business process knowledge on the ERP, MES, Control systems, Quality, Warehouse and Maintenance areas.
- The candidate should have a proven track record in engineering MES solutions and rolling out the solution for multi-national companies.
- The candidate should be an excellent communicator and be able to present ideas clearly and effectively both internally and externally.
