Position Summary We are looking for a proactive and technically competent NOC Officer to monitor telecom infrastructure, site availability, alarms, power systems, and network-related incidents. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Telecom NOC operations, alarm monitoring, incident management, escalation, and coordination with field/O&M teams to ensure maximum site availability and timely resolution of issues. Key Responsibilities

Monitor telecom sites and infrastructure through NMS, EMS, RMS, and other monitoring platforms.
Monitor and respond to site outages, equipment alarms, power failures, transmission issues, and other critical events.
Perform initial troubleshooting and coordinate with relevant technical teams for resolution.
Coordinate with O&M, Electrical, Power, Transmission, RF, Field Teams, and Vendors for timely fault resolution.
Manage incidents and tickets from initiation through resolution and closure.
Ensure proper escalation of critical and prolonged outages according to defined escalation matrices.
Monitor site availability, DG status, battery backup, commercial power, rectifiers, and other power-related parameters.
Track MTTR, site availability, outage duration, and recurring faults.
Maintain accurate incident logs, shift handover reports, and outage records.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly NOC performance and availability reports.
Coordinate with field teams for site visits and restoration activities.
Follow defined SLA, KPI, escalation, and operational procedures.
Identify recurring faults and highlight them to management for corrective and preventive action.
Maintain proper documentation of incidents, resolutions, and operational activities.
Support emergency/outage management and ensure timely restoration of affected sites.
Perform other NOC and operational duties assigned by management.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant telecom certifications will be an advantage.

Experience & Required Skills

0–3 years of experience in Telecom NOC, Network Operations, Telecom O&M, or a similar role.
Good understanding of BTS/RAN, transmission, telecom power systems, and site infrastructure.
Basic knowledge of fiber, microwave, Ethernet/IP, and transmission networks.
Experience working with NMS/EMS/RMS or telecom monitoring platforms.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
Willingness to work in shift-based / 24×7 NOC operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in Telecom Infrastructure Development, TowerCo, MNO, ISP, OEM, or Telecom O&M environments will be preferred.

Experience in monitoring site power, DG, battery, transmission, and equipment alarms will be an added advantage.
