Node JS Developer

Octet Solutions is looking for a skilled Node.js developer with at least two years of experience to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves designing and implementing server-side applications, working closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our applications are scalable, secure, and high-performing. The position is based onsite in Lahore, with working hours from 9 am to 6 pm. Candidates will be expected to contribute to both new development and maintenance of existing codebases, focusing on RESTful APIs and administration panel frameworks using Node.js and Nest.js.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable Node.js applications.
- Collaborate with the development team to create server-side logic and APIs for web and mobile platforms.
- Write clean, well-structured, and testable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Integrate multiple data sources and databases into unified systems.
- Ensure user authentication and authorization across various systems and environments.
- Maintain accessibility and security compliance throughout development.
- Assist in documenting software requirements, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Node.js development.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Node.js development, specifically with RESTful APIs and Nest.js frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in MongoDB and experience working with administration panel frameworks for Node.js.
- Solid understanding of API software design and development patterns for both web-based and mobile applications.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization mechanisms across multiple systems.
- Ability to work effectively with existing codebases and optimize applications for different platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and security compliance requirements.
