Tecaudex is seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our Lahore-based team on a full-time, onsite basis. The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 4 years of experience in backend development, focusing primarily on Node.js and Express.js. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that support our web applications. While the main emphasis is on backend tasks, familiarity with frontend frameworks like React.js and Next.js, as well as experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, will be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, high-quality software solutions tailored to client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Node.js.
- Implement and integrate RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with MongoDB to design and maintain database schemas, models, and queries.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following modern JavaScript best practices.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects.
- Optimize application performance to ensure scalability and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure smooth integration and seamless data flow.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in Node.js, backend development, and related technologies such as the MERN stack, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback.
- Continuously enhance skills through self-learning, research, and professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience as a Node.js Developer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, including common CSS frameworks.
- Proven experience implementing applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Familiarity with RESTful API principles.
- Ability to develop backend and custom components in JavaScript.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
