We are looking for a seasoned Backend Developer with 7 to 10+ years of extensive experience in backend development, primarily focused on Node.js. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with hands-on experience in frameworks like Express.js and Nest.js. A solid understanding of database technologies, including PostgreSQL and NoSQL, is essential, with proven skills in schema design and performance optimization. The role demands familiarity with microservices architecture, API design, and efficient inter-service communication to build scalable backend systems. Experience with Docker containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments is required. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, Google Cloud Run, and Azure Functions will be highly advantageous. This position is located in Hyderabad and is part of the Technology function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Node.js.
- Design and implement APIs adhering to best practices within a microservices architecture.
- Optimize database schemas and enhance performance for both PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and maintain applications across cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Troubleshoot backend issues to ensure system reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- 7 to 10+ years of professional experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages.
- Expertise in backend frameworks such as Express.js and Nest.js.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance tuning.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and API design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Familiarity with cloud services including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, Google Cloud Run, and Azure Functions.
