Minimum Requirements:

  •  Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Project Management/Business/Computer Sciences or related. Higher degree and other certifications will carry weight.
  •  Worked preferably in IT Sector or Education Sector.
  • The Project specialist must be a solution oriented person person who when faced with problems must have trouble shooting skills to solve the problem. 
  •  Minimum of three years’ experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified in this job description.
  •  Should have excellent interpersonal, communication and correspondence skills.
  •  Should have excellent email writing skills.
  •  Should be fluent in written & spoken English.
  •  Hands on with MS Office tools especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, VISIO, Outlook, and Microsoft Project etc.

Work Description:

  • The Project Specialist will report to senior management of the company and will provide direct technical & managerial supervision and support to project teams for ensuring effective and efficient implementation of assigned projects. 
  • The Project Specialist will lead and manage all aspects of project planning and quality implementation, troubleshooting and resolution,  including providing technical expertise, Project handling,  efficient execution of assigned tasks, supervising staff tasks and performance, coordinating with partners, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting, building staff and partner capacity as required.
  • In addition, as PS, s/he is responsible for developing new project proposals and project reports related to Massive Open Online Courses build on the successes, lessons learned and needs assessments of ongoing projects and/or are new project ideas.
  • S/he is also expected to work closely with the CEO for project related issues and represent the organization in external meetings and workshops when required.
  • Along with the above-mentioned responsibilities, the Project Specialist should be well versed in the following:
  • - Manage Stakeholders & their business needs.
  • - Ensure smooth communications between all stakeholders.
  • - Development of business proposals, presentations, project summaries, statistics tabulation.
  • - Represent & deliver business presentations to all stakeholders.
  • - Prepare weekly, fortnightly, monthly progress reports on the business generated & retained.
  • - Coordination with Operations Team and support in preparation of OLAs / SLAs.
  • - Keep record of Sales / Revenue Invoices etc.
  • - Develop & maintain a clean relationship with Public / Private Officials.
  • - Conduct Forecasting, risk assessments, cost estimations & other relevant requirements.
  • - Will evaluate and approve planned logistics & ensure timely arrangements.
  • - Ensure all the assigned KPIs are adhered to and develop strategy to ensure timely completions.
  • - Candidate should flexible to assigned essential duties.
