NPI Construction & Engineering is seeking an experienced Surveyor with a minimum of eight years in construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has extensive expertise in road construction, highways, earthworks, structures, and site development. This role demands strong proficiency in modern surveying techniques, including Total Station operation, Auto Level, GPS/DGPS surveying, and topographic data collection. The Surveyor will lead a team of 10 persons, ensuring accurate survey data collection, setting out, and alignment across various sites. Experience with large-scale projects, especially in the Ziarat region, is highly preferred. The Surveyor will work closely with site and project engineers, QA/QC teams, and other stakeholders to maintain high-quality construction surveying standards. This position requires a strong knowledge of engineering drawings interpretation, quantity measurement, and detailed documentation using AutoCAD and MS Excel. Physical fitness and the ability to work effectively on-site under varying conditions are essential. The Surveyor will oversee survey data accuracy, maintain field books and reports, and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality controls.
Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage modern surveying equipment such as Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS/DGPS for accurate site measurements and data collection.
  • Conduct topographic, land, road, and infrastructure surveys by setting out, leveling, aligning, and calculating coordinates and elevations.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, construction specifications, and survey plans to ensure precise implementation of survey data.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed survey records, including field books, measurement sheets, quantity calculations, and survey reports.
  • Supervise a team of 10 survey personnel, ensuring task assignments, performance monitoring, and on-site coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, and QA/QC teams to uphold quality standards and resolve survey-related issues.
  • Perform quantity surveys, as-built surveys, and verify site measurements against design specifications for construction progress and accuracy.
  • Use AutoCAD and MS Excel to organize, analyze, and present survey data for project reporting and documentation purposes.
  • Ensure construction site control by applying proper benchmarks, chainage points, and alignment checks throughout project execution.
  • Maintain physical presence on project sites to oversee surveying procedures, support field teams, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Continuously update knowledge of surveying technologies, procedures, and industry best practices relevant to large infrastructure projects.
  • Assist in project planning by providing precise survey data critical to the design, development, and execution phases.
