Position Summary: Providing nursing, maternity & neonatal care, treatment and follow-up of patients in assigned wards (birthing/delivery unit, New Born Unit (NBU), ER, Triage, ANC, PNC, IPD, etc.) according to doctors’ prescriptions, protocols applied in service, and universal hygiene standards/precautions, in order to ensure the quality and continuity of care for the targeted population.

Language: Proficiency in English and Urdu is essential; knowledge of any other local language is an asset and desirable.
Médecins Sans Frontières/ Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an international, independent organization which provides medical and humanitarian aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF first started working in Pakistan in 1986 and today provides vital, high-level medical care to people in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Punjab provinces. We work in collaboration with health authorities in the country and aim at providing access to quality medical care for the population. There is a particular focus on mother and child healthcare and the treatment of specific diseases such as tuberculosis and cutaneous leishmaniasis. MSF also has the capacity to respond quickly to emergencies or natural disasters whenever and wherever they strike. In Pakistan our activities are funded by private donations worldwide, with no institutional or government contributions. MSF's medical facilities are located in Peshawar, Khyber Agency, Chaman, Quetta, Dera Murad Jamali, Gujranwala and Karachi.
