The Nursing Instructor position is a full-time, on-site role based at Shalamar Nursing College in Lahore. The instructor will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating both classroom and clinical teaching for nursing students, ensuring all activities comply with institutional standards and regulatory requirements. This role demands active involvement in developing lesson plans, supervising clinical practice, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. Additionally, the instructor will participate in curriculum reviews, contribute to academic committees, mentor students, and collaborate with clinical and academic teams to continuously improve the quality of nursing education.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans for classroom and clinical instruction aligned with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and guide nursing students during clinical practice to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Assess student performance regularly, provide timely feedback, and maintain comprehensive academic records.
- Participate in curriculum development, including designing, updating, and evaluating nursing course content and learning outcomes.
- Contribute actively to academic committees and institutional initiatives aimed at enhancing nursing education.
- Mentor and support students to foster their academic and professional growth.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and academic teams to integrate evidence-based practices into teaching.

Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Nursing and Nursing Education, with the ability to teach both basic and advanced nursing concepts in classroom and clinical settings.
- Expertise in Curriculum Development, including the ability to design, update, and evaluate nursing courses and learning objectives.
- Knowledge of Medicine and Critical Care Medicine to support instruction in clinical decision-making, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
- Relevant academic credentials such as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), or equivalent qualifications.
- Valid professional nursing registration and prior experience in teaching or clinical preceptorship roles.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and support diverse learners.
- Commitment to ethical practice, lifelong learning, research-informed teaching, and adherence to institutional and regulatory standards.
