Nutrico Morinaga Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Information Officer to support its pharmaceutical and nutrition business. The successful candidate holds a Pharm-D, Food Sciences, Nutrition, or Bachelors degree in Science from an HEC-recognized university or an equivalent qualification with 6 to 12 months of experience in the pharma or nutrition sector. This role requires well-developed analytical abilities, a sound understanding of reporting and compliance standards, and proficiency in using Microsoft Excel. The Medical Information Officer acts as a critical liaison between the company and healthcare professionals, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of medical and product information.
The Medical Information Officer works closely with healthcare providers to establish a good rapport and maintain strong professional relationships, leveraging territorial knowledge to effectively manage communications. This role does not involve managing a team but demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to analyze and report medical data accurately. Continuous adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance guidelines is essential, ensuring the company's information flow aligns with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and report medical information related to pharmaceutical and nutrition products in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product details, industry regulations, and healthcare trends to provide accurate and reliable information to healthcare professionals.
- Develop and sustain professional relationships with healthcare providers, addressing their inquiries and providing scientific and medical support as needed.
- Prepare and deliver reports on adverse events, product usage, and other medically relevant data to appropriate internal departments.
- Manage and maintain medical databases and records with accuracy, ensuring data confidentiality and integrity.
- Use Microsoft Excel and other office tools to organize information, generate reports, and analyze trends to improve the quality and efficiency of medical communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs to ensure consistency and accuracy in medical information dissemination.
- Support compliance activities by monitoring and documenting adherence to medical and regulatory standards.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences and nutrition to continuously improve professional knowledge and competency.
- Assist in preparing presentations and educational materials for healthcare professionals to facilitate knowledge sharing and product awareness.
