We are looking for a "Mechanical Engineer", who will be responsible for managing all mechanical aspects of our operations. This role involves conducting in-house mechanical evaluations, ensuring the maintenance and efficiency of machinery, and coordinating with external vendors when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine checks on machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any mechanical faults or failures promptly.
- Oversee the repair and replacement of defective parts to maintain operational efficiency.
- Identify and evaluate external vendors for mechanical services and components.
- Collaborate with vendors to source spare parts, machinery, or specialized services as needed.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure favorable terms and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices into operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and operations management.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing solutions.
