We are seeking a skilled "Software Developer" to join our expanding team at our Lahore office.As a market-leading company in Building Automation and Energy Management Systems, we offer a prime opportunity for an individual with a solid educational background in Computer Science, Software, or IT. The successful candidate will report remotely to our management team located in Australia, contributing to our global operations.Technical Skills/Requirements
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or an engineering field with a specialization in Software.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, encompassing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong understanding and practical application of software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience in building cloud-based applications and working with cloud service providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Demonstrable experience and deep knowledge of REST API design and development.
- Proficiency in building server-side applications with JavaScript and Node.js.
- Experience building web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and libraries like React.
- Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems.
- Experience writing unit tests for the applications you build.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with enterprise-level systems in Java 7 or Java 8.
- Knowledge and experience working with application servers such as Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, or HaProxy.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting.
- Experience in DevOps practices and tools.
- Previous experience in a small team or startup culture.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Experience building Windows-based applications utilizing C# and .NET
