We are seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) technology stack. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement user-facing features using React.js, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Build efficient and reusable back-end systems using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and develop APIs for seamless integration between the front-end and back-end.
- Create and maintain MongoDB database schemas and ensure their performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define project specifications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the MERN stack development ecosystem, and propose improvements to enhance development processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a MERN Stack Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
- Proficient knowledge of the MERN stack, including MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with server-side APIs.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git and collaborative platforms like GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional front-end frameworks/libraries such as Redux, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of database management and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools for automated deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD).
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, or Mocha.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
