This full-time, on-site position based in the Karachi Division seeks an experienced Odoo Developer to design, develop, and maintain Odoo modules that support e-commerce, ERP, CRM, and various business workflows for Right Media and its clients. The role involves customizing existing Odoo functionality, integrating Odoo with platforms such as Shopify and other marketing and analytics tools, as well as developing secure back-end APIs and automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules tailored to business needs, including workflows, security rules, and reports.
- Customize and extend existing Odoo functionality to meet evolving client requirements.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party platforms like Shopify and various marketing and analytics systems.
- Develop secure back-end APIs and automation scripts to streamline business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of Odoo solutions.
- Participate in debugging, testing, and deploying software in production environments.
- Maintain clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
- Utilize version control tools such as Git to manage codebase and support collaborative development.

Required Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and database management.
- Hands-on experience in back-end web development using Python, with a preference for Odoo framework expertise.
- Proven software development skills encompassing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including debugging, testing, and production deployment.
- Proficiency in programming and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, with an emphasis on writing clean and maintainable code.
- Experience in developing and customizing Odoo modules, including working with Odoo ORM, views, workflows, security rules, and reports.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
- Comfortable working with version control systems like Git and collaborating in team environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work effectively within an on-site team setting.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in integrating these with Odoo modules is advantageous.
- Experience integrating Odoo with e-commerce and marketing platforms is highly valued.
