This full-time, on-site position based in the Karachi Division seeks an experienced Odoo Developer to design, develop, and maintain Odoo modules that support e-commerce, ERP, CRM, and various business workflows for Right Media and its clients. The role involves customizing existing Odoo features, integrating Odoo with platforms like Shopify and other marketing and analytics tools, and developing secure back-end APIs and automation scripts to enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Odoo modules tailored to business needs, including ERP, CRM, and e-commerce functionalities.
- Customize existing Odoo workflows, views, security rules, and reports to meet client requirements.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party platforms such as Shopify and marketing/analytics tools to streamline data flow and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop secure back-end APIs and automation scripts to support business processes and ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment activities to maintain high-quality software standards.
- Maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices in software development.
- Use version control systems like Git to manage codebase and support collaborative development workflows.

Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and database management.
- Proven experience in back-end web development using Python, with a preference for those familiar with Odoo’s framework.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and server-side frameworks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including debugging, testing, and deploying applications in production environments.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and writing clean, maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience developing and customizing Odoo modules, including ORM, views, workflows, security rules, and reporting features.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and techniques for optimizing database performance.
- Experience with version control tools like Git and working within collaborative development teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support front-end integration with Odoo is considered an advantage.
- Experience integrating Odoo with various third-party platforms and APIs will be beneficial.
