Odoo Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Odoo Developer to design, develop, and implement advanced Odoo ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with both Enterprise and Community editions of Odoo, strong technical expertise, and hold an official Odoo certification that demonstrates proficiency in Odoo development and architecture. This role requires a professional who can independently manage full-cycle Odoo implementations and deliver scalable, reliable solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Module Development & Customization: Design, develop, and maintain Odoo modules using Python, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb to meet business requirements.
- System Integration: Integrate Odoo with third-party applications through REST APIs, webhooks, or other protocols to ensure seamless data flow.
- Version Upgrades: Manage migrations between different Odoo versions (e.g., Odoo 15 to 18), ensuring data integrity and optimal system performance.
- Technical Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Enhance database and system performance to maintain reliability and scalability.
- Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit and integration testing, and manage deployments using Git and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth releases.
- Documentation & Reviews: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Required Qualifications

- Official Odoo Certified Developer credential is required.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional experience in Odoo development, covering both Enterprise and Community editions.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, and PostgreSQL.
- Deep understanding of Odoo ORM, QWeb reporting, controllers, and server architecture.
- Experience with Odoo.sh platform and custom module development.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, Git version control, and deployment automation tools.
- Proven track record in API integrations and connecting Odoo with external systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently handle full-cycle Odoo implementations from requirements gathering to deployment.
