Odoo Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to understand and analyze business requirements, configure Odoo modules to meet client needs, and work closely with both clients and technical teams throughout the implementation lifecycle. This role involves translating complex business processes into effective Odoo solutions, ensuring smooth deployment, and providing ongoing support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand and document clients’ business requirements and existing workflows through detailed discussions.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and facilitate business process analysis with clients.
- Configure Odoo modules based on approved business requirements to align with client operations.
- Prepare functional specifications and process documentation as needed to support development and implementation.
- Map existing business processes to Odoo functionalities, identifying any gaps or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with developers to communicate customization requirements clearly and ensure accurate delivery.
- Perform functional testing of Odoo configurations and custom developments to verify alignment with specifications.
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with clients to validate system readiness.
- Identify, document, and track issues during the implementation phase, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist clients during critical phases such as data migration, system testing, and Go-Live to ensure a smooth transition.
- Provide post-Go-Live support by resolving functional issues and addressing client queries.
- Maintain comprehensive implementation documentation and project records for reference and compliance.
- Monitor assigned tasks and ensure all deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated with the latest Odoo features, versions, and relevant modules to provide informed recommendations.

Key Odoo Modules

The consultant will primarily work with one or more of the following modules:

- Sales
- CRM
- Purchase
- Inventory
- Accounting & Finance
- HR & Payroll
- Attendance
- Time Off

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or similar role, with hands-on experience configuring Odoo modules.
- Strong understanding of business processes across sales, inventory, finance, and HR domains.
- Ability to gather and analyze client requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Experience coordinating with technical teams for customizations and testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and developers.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing and issue tracking methodologies.
- Willingness to work on-site in Karachi.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs100,000, depending on experience and expertise. This is an in-person role based in Karachi, requiring close collaboration with clients and internal teams.
