Odoo Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our ERP team. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of business processes and have hands-on experience in configuring and implementing Odoo ERP solutions. This role involves close collaboration with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective Odoo configurations. The consultant will ensure successful implementations and support continuous system improvements to maximize business value.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with clients to thoroughly understand their business needs and operational workflows.
- Analyze existing business processes and map them to appropriate Odoo functionalities to optimize efficiency.
- Configure and implement various Odoo modules, including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, CRM, HR, and other relevant areas.
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise across at least 10 Odoo modules to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications, business process documentation, configuration guides, and workflow diagrams.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identify functional issues, and coordinate timely resolution with relevant teams.
- Deliver end-user training sessions and provide ongoing functional support to ensure smooth system adoption.
- Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate customizations, integrations, and system enhancements as required.
- Manage project tasks, timelines, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Provide ongoing support for live Odoo systems by troubleshooting issues and recommending continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 10 years of experience working as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
- Strong understanding of business processes across finance, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, sales, and human resources.
- Proven practical experience in implementing and configuring at least 10 different Odoo modules.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ERP implementation methodologies, preferably covering full project lifecycles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to map complex business processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in client-facing roles.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional system configurations effectively.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases is advantageous.
- Odoo certification is preferred and considered a plus.
