Odoo Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our ERP team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of business processes and have hands-on experience in configuring and implementing Odoo ERP solutions. This role involves close collaboration with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective Odoo configurations. The goal is to ensure successful implementations and continuous improvement of the system to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with clients to understand their business needs and operational workflows.
- Analyze business processes and align them with appropriate Odoo functionalities.
- Configure and implement various Odoo modules, including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, CRM, HR, and others as needed.
- Demonstrate practical expertise across at least 10 Odoo modules.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications, business process documentation, configuration documents, and workflow diagrams.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identify functional issues, and coordinate their resolution with relevant teams.
- Deliver end-user training sessions and provide ongoing functional support to ensure effective system adoption.
- Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate customizations, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Manage project tasks, implementation timelines, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Provide continuous support by troubleshooting issues and recommending improvements for live Odoo systems.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
- Strong understanding of business processes across finance, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, sales, and human resources.
- Proven experience implementing and configuring at least 10 Odoo modules.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ERP implementation, preferably covering the full project lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business process mapping skills.
- Strong communication, documentation, and client-facing abilities.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional system configurations.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases is advantageous.
- Odoo certification is preferred.
