Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to the Non-Correspondent Banking Departmental Operational Instruction to manage risk events in accordance with the AAA process.
- Perform in-depth analysis and escalate matters using expertise in complex financial products.
- Foster a culture of openness, trust, and risk awareness, ensuring ethical, legal, regulatory, and policy compliance is maintained at all times.
- Analyze significant financial crime risk events, including non-compliant transactions and production orders, ensuring all related parties—especially those involved in cross-border activities—are identified and reported internally across relevant jurisdictions.
- Apply Group and Financial Crime Compliance policies, including Anti-Money Laundering surveillance, client screening, and risk assessment, to effectively manage risks.
- Demonstrate exemplary conduct aligned with the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal accountability for upholding the highest standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, and business conduct, ensuring full adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Lead Financial Crime Surveillance Operations to deliver outcomes aligned with the Bank’s Conduct Principles, which include Fair Outcomes for Clients, Effective Operation of Financial Markets, Financial Crime Prevention, and Creating the Right Environment.
- Collaborate effectively to identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance issues.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in risk management, particularly within financial crime compliance or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of complex financial products and cross-border transaction risks.
- Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, client screening, and risk assessment frameworks.
- Ability to analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and ensure organizational compliance.
- Excellent communication skills to promote a culture of integrity and risk awareness.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing surveillance operations or similar compliance functions.
