Quality Control Microbiologist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Microbiologist to join our team. As a Quality Control Microbiologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the microbiological safety and quality of our products. Responsibilities:

Conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal specifications.
Perform environmental monitoring of production areas and equipment to detect and prevent microbial contamination.
Maintain accurate records of all testing and inspection results.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to microbiological testing and quality control. Contribute to the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field.
Strong understanding of microbiological principles and techniques, including aseptic technique, microbial identification, and enumeration methods.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EPA) related to microbiological testing in the manufacturing of personal care products preferred.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
Experience with laboratory instrumentation and software for data analysis is a plus.
Prior experience in a quality control or laboratory setting, preferably in the consumer products or pharmaceutical industry, is desirable but not required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
