Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual leasing strategies, including setting occupancy targets, rental income forecasts, and category mix plans aligned with company objectives.
- Leverage an established network within retail, corporate, and real estate industries to identify, attract, and secure new leasing and business development opportunities.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with local and international retail brands, franchise operators, anchor tenants, corporate clients, and strategic partners to drive business growth.
- Lead lease negotiations and finalize contracts with prospective tenants and corporate clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate closely with mall operations, leasing, and project teams to plan and implement proper zoning and category placement within ongoing and future developments.
- Manage lease administration processes using lease administration software to ensure accurate and timely records of lease agreements and amendments.
- Guide and develop a team of three leasing and business development professionals by providing coaching, performance feedback, and career growth opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform leasing strategies and maintain a competitive position in the real estate market.
- Oversee project management related to leasing initiatives, ensuring milestones are met while coordinating across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive leasing reports and presentations for senior management to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
