Senior Accountant(UAE Based Real Estate)

Onehelp Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant specializing in real estate financial management based in the UAE. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with a strong background in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and tax management specifically tailored to the real estate sector. The successful candidate will bring at least six years of experience, combining audit firm exposure and industry knowledge, preferably within real estate. This role focuses on delivering accurate financial statements, managing tax filing and VAT processes in line with UAE taxation laws, and ensuring internal control effectiveness without team management responsibilities. The Senior Accountant will work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to uphold high standards of financial integrity and compliance. The individual must be skilled in property accounting, cash flow management, and account reconciliation, utilizing ERP systems and accounting softwares. Knowledge of UAE-specific taxation, VAT filing, and real estate financial practices is crucial. This position demands precision, adherence to regulatory frameworks, and proactive management of financial processes to support strategic business goals in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial reports for real estate entities and deliver accurate financial statements.
Handle document controlling and maintain proper record management systems.
Manage cash and bank reconciliations, property accounting, and cash flow management.
Oversee rental income, tenant accounts, and service charges.
Direct Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
Perform monthly reporting and handle month-end closing activities.
Maintain the fixed asset register accurately.
Prepare receipt and payment vouchers.
Execute UAE VAT & Corporate Tax (CT) filing, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks.
Use ERP/accounting software effectively, with a primary focus on QuickBooks Desktop.
