The Assistant Manager Transmission will support the planning, deployment, and operations of the Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) and Transmission (TXN) Network across the motorway network. The role ensures network reliability, optimization, and documentation while coordinating with vendors and technical teams for smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in OFC & TXN network planning, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Monitor network performance and prepare performance reports.
Maintain accurate network documentation and configurations.
Support in splicing, testing, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
Research and recommend new technologies for network enhancement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Electrical, Telecom, IT, or Computer Engineering.
3–5 years of relevant experience in Optical Transmission/Transmission Planning.
Knowledge of SDH, DWDM, MPLS, and Ethernet systems.
Strong analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
