Technical Lead – Home Automation

One Touch Automation is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to manage the technical delivery of smart home automation projects, including installation, configuration, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, site surveys, technical demonstrations, and customer support.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute installation, configuration, programming, pairing, testing, and commissioning of smart home devices and automation systems.
Perform basic electrical wiring and installation of sensors, switches, curtain motors, smart locks, and other home automation components.
Conduct comprehensive site surveys to gather installation requirements, create detailed checklists, capture photos, and prepare service reports.
Maintain the Experience Center’s operational readiness by organizing demo stock, tools, accessories, and ensuring demo equipment is functional and customer-ready.
Provide product demonstrations, technical presentations, and automation solution explanations to customers, facilitating informed purchase decisions.
Offer technical support during customer visits and assist the sales team by supplying product knowledge, specification guidance, and responding to customer queries.
Plan device placement and devise basic system architecture to meet the functional requirements of home automation projects.
Coordinate after-sales service efforts including initial complaint handling, troubleshooting, and escalation of complex technical issues to office-based teams.
Manage inventory of installation tools, demo devices, and accessories to ensure availability and readiness for projects and demonstrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support installation projects and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges to maintain customer satisfaction.
