We are looking for talented and passionate full-time editors to join the marketing team at ONE UNIT. As the video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into an excellent finished product, this may include commercials, brand videos and animated content. The material may include footage from multiple cameras, dialogue, sound effects and graphics. As a key role in the post-production process, you will be working closely with the digital media specialist and marketing manager to achieve the desired end result.
As an Editor, you will be responsible for:
- Ability to handle the picture edit, sound and colour grading
- Work closely with marketing team to craft visually compelling creative stories under tight deadlines
- Developing titles and motion graphics using After Effects
- Syncing audio and converting footage into proper file formats
- Transform footage and narrative scripts into powerful visual stories and highly kinetic pieces for screens of all sizes
- Diligence in using proper naming formats and keeping content as organized as possible
- Rendering, exporting and adding closed captions
- Reordering and fine-tuning the content to ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Delivering a quick turnaround on requested internal and external (client) revisions
- Demonstrate the technical and creative vision to collaborate with project teams, as well as work independently, to achieve the best possible results
- Create closed captions for videos
Required experience:
- 3+ years’ experience editing and motion graphics
- Be an expert in Adobe Premiere and in After Effects, and skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with social media channels for businesses (Youtube, Instagram & Facebook)
- A creative mind with storytelling skills
- Able to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
