Senior Accountant

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial reports, creating and monitoring systems to ensure budgetary targets are met

The Senior Accountant will also collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a monthly and annual basis.
Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial information and support decision-making processes.
Oversee inventory accounting processes, including tracking raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory levels.
Ensure Job Orders are executed as per given budgets and track any variance
Design reporting and implement ERP system in a way that drives key insights
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights to support strategic planning initiatives.
Participate in the development and implementation of accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred.
Proven experience working as an accountant in a garment manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful insights.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: 100k - 160k
