We are seeking a full-time remote Full Stack Engineer to join an innovative AI-first dermatology telehealth platform. This role is based in Islamabad and operates on a morning shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack web application development and will play a key role in building and enhancing clinical workflows, improving user experience, and solving complex technical challenges using cutting-edge AI and agentic tools. The position offers a competitive salary range of PKR 150,000 to 400,000, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using modern technologies such as TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS.
- Design and implement clinical workflows that support telehealth services in dermatology.
- Enhance user experience by collaborating closely with product and design teams to deliver intuitive and efficient interfaces.
- Solve complex technical problems related to data integration, performance, and scalability.
- Utilize GraphQL and Apollo to build efficient APIs and manage data flow between client and server.
- Model and manage relational databases using PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and optimized queries.
- Integrate AI and agentic tools into the platform to improve diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the platform’s features and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of professional experience in full-stack web application development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks, specifically React and Next.js for frontend development.
- Strong backend development skills using Node.js and NestJS.
- Experience with GraphQL and Apollo for API development and data management.
- Solid understanding of relational database design and management, particularly with PostgreSQL.
- Ability to model complex data relationships and optimize database queries.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with AI integration and agentic tools within software applications is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
