Online Quantity Surveyor / Construction Estimator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Construction Estimator to join our team on a full-time remote basis, based in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of relevant experience and a strong background in cost estimation and quantity surveying within the construction industry. This role involves working closely with project teams to prepare accurate cost estimates, conduct quantity takeoffs, and support the bidding process to ensure competitive and profitable project proposals.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications to support the estimation process.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in line with project requirements.
- Review tender documents and drawings thoroughly to identify scope and cost implications.
- Provide bid support by collaborating with project managers and procurement teams.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date estimating records and documentation.
- Assist in analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Support project teams in cost control and budget monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Construction Estimator.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and quantity takeoffs.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with tender documentation and the bidding process.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in relevant software tools used for estimation and quantity surveying.
