Onsite Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer!

We are seeking a skilled Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join our team on-site in Islamabad. This full-time role involves hands-on work with cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment pipelines, and production systems. You will ensure the reliability and smooth operation of cloud environments across multiple platforms, supporting application deployments from development through to production. The ideal candidate is proactive in troubleshooting, improving deployment processes, and collaborating closely with development teams to maintain high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and enhance infrastructure on Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and DigitalOcean.
- Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Manage deployments across Development, Staging, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production environments.
- Work extensively with Docker and containerized workloads.
- Administer Linux and Windows servers, ensuring optimal configuration and security.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure and production issues promptly.
- Configure and maintain DNS, SSL certificates, firewalls, load balancers, IP addresses, and access controls.
- Monitor system health, application performance, logs, and operational alerts to ensure stability.
- Maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery processes.
- Collaborate directly with developers during releases, deployments, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Continuously improve infrastructure reliability, security, performance, and deployment efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Operations.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, and DigitalOcean cloud platforms.
- Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines effectively.
- Strong Linux and Windows server administration skills.
- Solid experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
- Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure and production troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with DNS management, firewalls, load balancers, SSL, IP management, and access control.
- Experience supporting multiple environments including Development, Staging, UAT, and Production.
- Skilled in monitoring, logging, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, ARM Templates or Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, cloud security, cloud cost optimization, or enterprise/financial applications is considered a plus.

This role is critical as it goes beyond simple script maintenance or dashboard monitoring. You will be directly responsible for the infrastructure that supports real-world applications, focusing on automation, deployment, production troubleshooting, reliability, and security. Close collaboration with engineering teams will be a key part of your daily work.

Please note, this is an on-site position based in Islamabad (I-10/3). Candidates must be able to work from the office during the specified hours of 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday.
